Welcome
The Birchwood Racing Team is a Twin Cities-area racing team and cycling club dedicated to the positive experiences of cycling. Our goal is to promote cycling as a healthy way to be active and involved with our community.

The Birchwood Racing Team was started more than ten years ago by a group of racers who wanted more than just a group of people who entered races together. They wanted to train and race as a team and use their collective resources and strengths to improve their results in local races. They also wanted to have a community of like-minded riders who wanted to spend time together off the bike as well.

From those simple roots and a small number of people, we have grown into a larger community full of racers, racers-to-be, recreational riders, triathletes, skiers, and local businesses who support what we do.

Sunday Coffee Ride
The Sunday Coffee Rides starts Sunday, May 16, 2010 at 10am. The ride leaves from the Birchwood Cafe (3311 East 25th Street) and is open to the riding public. You must wear a helmet and the pace is normally 15-17mph. Road bikes required.

Women's Ride
We offer a women-only ride that is open to non-members the first Tuesday of each month
(May-September). The ride leaves from the Birchwood Cafe at 6pm. You must wear a helmet and be on a road bike.
